The New Romance | Soft Ivories & Timeless Florals at Henlade House
We were delighted to be invited to be part of a beautiful styled shoot at Henlade House, a new luxury wedding venue nestled in the Somerset countryside on the edge of Taunton.
A sister venue to Rockbeare Manor, Coombe Lodge and Priston Mill, Henlade House combines beautiful Regency architecture with light-filled interiors and an elegant country house setting. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear just how much love had gone into bringing Henlade House back to life, with its beautiful period details and original character thoughtfully restored throughout.
The Styled Shoot at Henlade House
The vision for the day was one of old-world romance with a contemporary feel, centred around a soft palette of warm creams and ivories inspired by Pantone's Cloud Dancer. Created by Briony Bond in collaboration with wedding planner and stylist Daisy Martin, the concept brought together a talented team of wedding suppliers to showcase Henlade House and its possibilities for a modern country house wedding.
For All Floral, our focus was the floral décor. Working with the beautifully neutral palette, we created layers of abundant white and ivory florals designed to complement the grandeur of the house rather than compete with it.
One of our favourite elements was the wedding breakfast styling. A statement floral runner swept along the table before cascading to the floor, combining white roses, hydrangeas and delicate textural flowers. Surrounded by clusters of candlelight and layered with elegant tableware, it created a beautifully romantic focal point within the room.
For the ceremony, beautiful statement floral arrangements were elevated on clear Perspex plinths, allowing the flowers to make an impact while retaining the light, refined feel of the overall design. Floral meadows and clusters of candlelight were also styled around the base of Henlade House’s sweeping staircase, drawing attention to one of the venue’s most beautiful features and creating a romantic focal point within the entrance hall.
The shoot was a wonderful example of how wedding florals and styling can work with the character of a venue, complementing its beautiful features while creating a setting that feels romantic, elegant and completely cohesive.
The New Romance — Featured in WED Magazine
We were thrilled to see the finished shoot featured by WED Magazine as The New Romance: Soft ivories, sculptural florals and Regency grandeur set the scene at Henlade House.
The feature captures so much more than the floral design alone. It brings together the complete creative vision of the day — from the tactile handmade stationery, pearl detailing and beautifully styled tablescape to the intricate wedding cake and macarons.
Fashion added another layer to the editorial, with silk, linen and lace bridal gowns, embroidered veils, pearl accessories and understated bridal beauty. Against this softness, classic black tie styling for the groom gave the imagery a timeless quality. Together, the details created what WED describes as a contemporary country house celebration that feels fresh while retaining a sense of old-world romance.
The finished editorial captures exactly what made the day at Henlade House so special: beautiful craftsmanship, thoughtful styling and a soft, romantic aesthetic brought together within an incredible Somerset wedding venue.
We are incredibly proud to have provided the floral décor for the shoot and to see our work featured alongside such a talented collection of wedding creatives.
